Open house success for Printers Superstore in Germany [11-10-29]

Printers Superstore's two-day Open House has proven very popular, with a
steady flow of visitors ranging from those curious to see Hans Gronhi
machinery for the first time, to companies already convinced the low-cost
Chinese built press is a sound investment - such as Norwich based Hollinger
Print Ltd , which has ordered a new Hans Gronhi GH525 five colour B3 press
at the event.

Managing Director Mark Hollinger says the company decided on the requirement
for a five colour B3 press as part of an ambitious new business plan. "We
are aiming for a 50% growth in the next two years, which means both gaining
new work and better serving our existing customers," he says. "Until now we
had run only two colour machines, but we need the extra capacity and higher
productivity of a multicolour press."

He continues: "We looked at the options available, first at DI presses and
then litho. The Hans Gronhi machine was by far the best deal on paper, so I
sent my engineer to make a report. He returned with a very positive verdict
on the Gronhi's build quality, and said the whole package from the
technology to the standard of output was excellent. It was clear that this
machine has everything its competitors have, except the price tag. We are
confident the GH525 is the right machine to take our business to the next
level."

Hollinger Print is a general commercial printer which handles a full range
of short to medium work from leaflets to high end brochures. It has 8 staff
and a 3,500sq ft works.  It is replacing a two colour Shinohara machine with
the new Gronhi.

Hans Gronhi Presses have made a big impact on the B3 offset press market in
recent years with an unbeatable combination of low cost and high quality, a
success which has been reflected in the healthy level of interest in the
Printers Superstore event. MD Graham Moorby says ;"We have been kept very
busy, with a steady stream of visitors on both days.  It's been a difficult
few years in the industry, but printers are waking up to the idea that Hans
Gronhi machines can put the margins back into their business and give them a
way back into growth.  Everyone who sees the quality of this equipment, and
does the maths, will realise we have a genuinely revolutionary product."
